Go Behind the Scenes at RODEOHOUSTON, An Exclusive IABC Houston Tour
Just days before RODEOHOUSTON officially opens, IABC Houston members are invited inside one of the largest and most complex live events in the city for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how it all comes together.
This private tour will take you inside the Broadcast and Communications operation at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where strategy, storytelling, digital platforms, and live production converge under intense deadlines and national visibility.
You will hear directly from Danielle Grossman, Director of Strategic Communication for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, along with her Media Relations Manager. Danielle leads strategic communications for an event that attracts more than two million attendees each year and generates global media attention across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
Participants will also meet leaders from Guest Experience and Broadcast Production, including the Director of Broadcast who oversees the massive production operation that brings RODEOHOUSTON to life on screen. Expect real insights into how teams coordinate messaging, manage digital communications, handle media demand, and deliver a seamless experience for audiences both in person and online.
Topics will include:
- Coordinating communications across broadcast, digital, and on-site teams
- Managing media and messaging in the final days before a major live event
- How digital communications support fan engagement and real-time storytelling
- The role of guest experience in brand trust and reputation
To close out the tour, attendees will also get a brief look inside the broadcast studio.
If you have ever wanted to see how a Houston institution operates behind the curtain, this is your chance. Space is limited, and this experience is only available through IABC Houston.
