If you want your copy perfect and your finished layout flawless, proofreading is an essential final step. Some people may think apps like Grammarly and tools such as spell-check have made this process automatic, but those of us who communicate for a living know better. It still takes a sharp eye and a well-thumbed style book to make the magic happen.
At IABC Houston’s Sept. 12 ESIG meeting, professional copy editor and proofreader Caren Hayden will share tips and tricks to add the perfect polish to your communications – and help you determine when you should call in a pro for help.
Alice Brink and Kathleen Endler planned this month’s program.
